Through a dynamic series of 6 half-day workshops, participants have engaged directly with internationally-renowned thinkers and leaders who have provided powerful insights, inspiration, and momentum. These sessions have empowered participants to return to their organisations, sectors, and communities equipped to lead meaningful, planet-positive change.
Previous participants have received a ‘Change-Makers Playbook’ that will be invaluable as they become NI’s next generation of climate change-makers. This is in addition to cultivating a network of fellow future leaders across a range of professions and interest areas.
For the past few years, the programme has kicked off with the first 40 applications securing a complimentary place at the Sustain Exchange Summit which takes place in-person in October annually. This event features a world-class line up of speakers best-selling authors, global business leaders and internationally-renowned thought-leaders. The summit provides ideas, inspiration and impetus as we strive to avert a catastrophe for our civilisation. It is the perfect launch pad for 30U30 participants and an exceptional piece of added value for the first 40 applicants.

If you want to take positive action on the climate crisis and believe you are a future leader within your organisation, sector or area of interest then this programme is for you.
In order to maximise the long-term impact of the programme, previous participants have come from a broad range of backgrounds, sectors, gender and age (anyone under 30).

Eligibility:
- Nominees must be 30 years old or under.
- We only accept nominees from or living in Northern Ireland.
- Nominees must be able to attend the compliment of 6 workshops
- Nominations must be submitted in English, but your nomination will not be judged based on your English ability. You can submit more than one nomination (e.g. yourself and someone else, or nominate two different people), but you must submit a separate nomination for each person (we do not accept joint nominations).
- Nominations must be willing to share experience on social media.

The climate emergency is code red for humanity. In order to avert an existential crisis we need planet-conscious leaders in every sector and walk of life. NI has already produced pioneering leaders, this programme will create the next generation.
