From October 2024 to December 2025, the Leading Sustainable Impact programme brought together three cohorts of forward-thinking business leaders and professionals from a diverse range of sectors for an intensive, fully-funded 4-day course focused on driving sustainable transformation within their organisations.
Designed for individuals in positions to shape and influence the sustainability agenda, this high-impact programme provided over 45 participants with the leadership tools, insights, and peer network needed to launch and deliver meaningful sustainability initiatives across sectors.
Delivered by world-class speakers, leading academics, and local exemplars, the programme featured a blend of cutting-edge thinking and practical application. Core topics included:
A central feature of the programme was the live transformation project, through which each participant applied their learning to a real-world sustainability challenge within their organisation. The programme concluded with individual impact presentations, where each participant showcased progress on their individual sustainability projects, demonstrating the practical application and strategic vision developed over the course.
Participants emerged with enhanced leadership skills, a valuable peer network, and actionable plans to advance sustainability goals in their organisations. The programme, valued at £4,000 per person, was fully funded by the Department for the Economy.
